De Nederlandse Sociologische Vereniging (NSV) nodigt haar leden hierbij uit voor de jaarlijkse algemene ledenvergadering op donderdag 24 mei 2012, die zoals gebruikelijk zal worden gehouden tijdens de Dag van de Sociologie, die dit jaar plaatsvindt in Utrecht. De locatie van het congres is De Uithof. De ledenvergadering is gepland tijdens de lunchpauze, van 12.15 tot 13.15 uur, in de Van Lier & Egginkzaal in het Bestuursgebouw (Heidelberglaan 8). De lezing is gebaseerd op Wright’s laatste boek met dezelfde titel, dat in 2010 verscheen. Zijn bedoeling is een denkkader te presenteren voor bevrijdende alternatieven voor het kapitalisme.
