The Jos Berghman Welfare Studies Stipend 2017
The Team Social Policy and Social Work of CESO, KU Leuven, Belgium, calls for applications for the Jos Berghman Welfare Studies Stipend. Each year, this stipend offers two young scholars the opportunity to spend a research term of 2-3 months with the Team at CESO.
Candidates are international PhD-students, post-docs, or early career researchers whose research is situated in the broad fields of social policy and social work. Their research can be quantitative or qualitative in nature, preferably (but not exclusively) from a sociological perspective. The research term should result in a paper.
The stipend covers accommodation and travel costs.
Deadline for application is 1 September 2016.

HAPS seminar 15 juni Groningen
Lezingen en paper presentaties van nationale en internationale sprekers, zoals Joop de Beer, Martin Hyde, Nardi Steverink en Frank van Lenthe. Het seminar is bedoeld voor onderzoekers geïnteresseerd in Healthy Ageing. Het aantal plaatsen is beperkt, dus tijdig inschrijven is aanbevolen.

Social Sciences and the Internet Conference
Voor degenen met interesse in internet-gerelateerd onderzoek: 1 juli is er de derde editie van de Social Sciences and the Internet Conference. Deze editie vindt plaats aan de TU in Eindhoven. Tot 9 mei is indienen van een samenvatting van een paper nog mogelijk. Meer informatie vindt u hier.
